I have had the opportunity to work with Nancy at Allium for a few years across different projects. Nancy’s attention to detail, strategic direction and inclusive process and decision making has helped our organization and community benefit from coalition building, well planned community events and strategic plans that have led to positive outcomes. Nancy Keeler and Allium are an asset to any community looking to build stronger and welcoming environments.

Nancy Keeler is the Principal of Allium Development Group.

Nancy first learned critical thinking while studying art history and economics at Roanoke College. Art history courses taught her how to compare and analyze data points. Economics courses taught her the laws of supply, demand, and scarcity. Those skills came in handy at the Institute for Community Inclusion. Although she was hired to facilitate trainings, the research for those trainings had not yet been completed. Nancy learned research methods while on the job with a nationally renowned research institution and conducted pilot studies from Montana to Florida. In 2010, Nancy began consulting as an independent contractor. In 2021, after over ten years of projects, she formalized her work and founded Allium Development Group. Allium partners with organizations, businesses, developers, and local governments to create better communities for people and for businesses.

Nancy is the mother of two girls, loves gardening, cooking, and reading. She and her husband, Jacob, have a small portfolio of real estate and are partners in the Milton 66, a beer garden located in Milton, NC.
